Ronald P. Kotfila, M.D., received his Bachelor of Science, in Biochemistry, from the University of Arizona and his medical degree in Internal Medicine from the Tulane University School of Medicine. He completed both his residency and internship in Internal Medicine at the University of California at Davis Medical Center. After serving on the faculty, he went on to complete a fellowship in Gastroenterology at UCD as well. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. Dr. Kotfila came to G.I. Associates in 1997.
