Michelle Ann Petro, M.D., is native of Jackson, attended Vanderbilt University and is a Magna cum Laude graduate of Mississippi State University with a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology. She received her medical degree from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine. Dr. Petro completed a residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Mississippi Hospitals and Clinics in 2002. She completed a fellowship in Gastroenterology at the University of Mississippi Hospitals and Clinics in 2005. Active in research, Dr. Petro has co-authored several papers.
